Hi! I'm Swarnima Shukla

Product Designer II, worked at Ethos Life, Meesho & Internshala

I design for adoption where user resistance is the core constraint. Engineer by training, I prototype and ship in code.

  • PROMPT ARCADE Prompt like it actually matters. Practice prompt engineering on real scenarios. Better prompts, zero AI slop, less energy waste. Two Tracks Builder or Freshman paths. Cut The Cost Reduce token & water waste. End AI Slop Decision grade, not generic mush. Considered Prompt Decision grade output

  • SWAPP You don't need to own a party outfit. It gets worn once, photographed, and then sits in a cupboard. Borrow one nearby instead. Browse Campus Outfits and jewellery nearby. Lend & Earn Share your wardrobe. Zero Waste Less buying, more sharing. swapp.

Beyond work

Story so far...

I'm a product designer who builds. Trained as a computer science engineer and found design through hackathons and open source, where the gap between what worked and what people could use kept bothering me. I made the switch after that, with UX and research certifications and a lot of time putting my thinking in front of design communities.

Six years in, I've worked across consumer and enterprise products. Being an engineer means I've never wanted to stop at the handoff. I prototype in code and work alongside engineers instead of passing files to them, something AI has made far more practical in the last two years. Outside of work I've built and shipped two products end to end: PromptArcade, a free prompt-engineering tool, and Swapp, a clothes-swapping app now used by students for college events (MVP stage).

My design philosophy: the line between designing something, arguing for it, and building it has gotten thin. What hasn't changed is the hard part: getting to the real problem before you start solving it. That's still the differentiator, and it always will be.
